With Fabricio Werdum’s victory over Fedor event, we now know who is next to face the Strikeforce champ. At tonights “Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Werdum” event on Showtime, the Strikeforce heavyweight champ said he wanted the winner of the main event.

“I hope Fedor will win the fight. I’m a big fan of his fighting and I’m looking forward to fighting him myself,” said Alistair Overeem. “Whoever wins tonight, I want next”

Many thought it would be Fedor who would face Overeem next, but with Werdum’s surprise victory over the Russian legend, it seems like Overeem will face the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ace.
