It seems like stealing fighters hats during their walk outs is a new trend, we’ve seen it before at past UFC events. But at UFC 115 in Canada there was one fan in particular who as able to steal not one, but two hats off fighters heads as they walked by. The brazen thief even attempted to steal a third had but was unsuccessful. Paulo Thaigo and Ben Rothwell both had their caps stolen right off their head while Martin Kampmann was able to keep his as he walked out.
As seen in the gifs below, you can see a man that looks pretty close to Tank Abbott swiping the hats off the fighters as they walked by. I’m surprised security didn’t kick the guy out of the arena, or that the fighters punched him in the face. It seems like a perfectly good punishment for hat theft.
EDIT: It has come to our attention that is was actually two guys who were stealing hats at UFC 115. So it’s two douchebags who deserve to be punched in the face.

You can clearly see that isn’t the same person in the first and second one. It’s the guy next to him.
