Yoshihiro Akiyama just came off a submission loss to Chris Leben at UFC 116, but it isn’t the last we’ll see of the Japanese MMA superstar, he is faced to fight British middleweight Michael Bisping at UFC 120 in October says Fighters Only Magazine. The agreements to the fight has been drawn up with one fighter already agreeing to the bout. Bisping won his last right via unanimous decision over Dan Miller at UFC 114 and a decision loss to Wanderlei Silva back at UFC 110. He seems to be getting better and better with each fight however, and should be a good match up to Yoshihiro Akiyama. He is currently 1-1 in the UFC which puts him on thin ice in the organization, this next fight with Bisping very well may determine if we see Akiyama in the UFC again, and if Japanese MMA is truly dead as many have claimed. It is rumored that Cheick Kongo vs. Travis Brown and Dan Hardy vs. Carlos Condit will be on the October UFC 120 card.
