It didn’t take long for Cain Velasquez to bloody Antionio Silva on the ground with elbows. In the opening frame of the first round Silva threw a leg kick which Velasquez caught and used to put Bigfoot on his back. Cain then used ground and pound and elbows to open up Silva, after a pause to let the cageside doctor take a look at Silva’s cut, Velasquez once again bloodied Silva which led to the stoppage in the first.
