Dan Hardy just snaped his four losing streak by knocking out Duane “Bang” Ludwig in the first round of their UFC 146 prelim fight. Hardy used his signature left hook to drop Ludwig, after a bit of premature celebrating Hardy swarmed on top of Ludwig and landed a few more blows until ref Josh Rosenthal stopped the fight at 3:51 of the first round.
This is Hardy’s first win since November of 2009 where he defeated Mike Swick. He has since lost four fights in a row and was on the verge of losing his job on the UFC before his KO win over Ludwig. Hardy rises to 24-10 with 1 no contest and Ludwig fell to 29-13.
