Back in 1998 the Ultimate Fighting Championship came to Brazil and put on bouts that featured Wanderlei Silva, Frank Shamrock,Vitor Belfort and Pedro Rizzo. Well it looks like the UFC is aiming to return to Brazil sometime in 2011, there are even talks about a version of The Ultimate Fighter reality show that will feature all Brazilian fighters. The July edition of Tatame reports that the UFC is currently planning a return to Brazil, which makes perfect sense. Many of the best MMA fighters are coming out of Brazil these days, and it is a market that will gain the UFC millions of new viewers.

As with all past The Ultimate Fighter shows, current UFC alums coach up and coming mixed martial artists who then square off in the octagon. Who will the UFC call on to be coaches for a The Ultimate Fighter Brazil? Anderson Silva and Demian Maia? Wanderlei Silva and Lyoto Machida? How about Vitor Belfort and a Gracie perhaps? There is no shortage of MMA talent in Brazil, which makes a UFC fight card, and reality show a very interesting prospect.
